The baby brother to our Reserve Cabernet is comprised of all Estate-grown fruit and crafted with the same winemaking techniques as our primary wines. Comprised of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cab Franc, 9% each Merlot & Malbec, and 1% Petit Verdot. Dense aromas of black pepper and boysenberry are accented by rain-soaked cement. On the palate, this easy going red turns a bit brighter, with flavors of fresh berry compote and pepper steak followed by moderate tannins. 100% estate produced Meritage blend from Rutherford.
