United as an unlikely pair of talented winemakers, Jeff Davis and Greg Brickey created Majuscule – a boutique winery known for producing elegant Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from exceptional vineyards in the Napa Valley, with a focus on the Mount Veeder Appellation.
WINEMAKER NOTES:
Every Spring we release a “summer red blend” that’s mostly Cab Franc and intended to be enjoyed slightly chilled as the weather warms up. Our delightful summer red blend truly expresses the elegance and texture of the predominant Cabernet Franc with the backbone of high-elevation Cabernet Sauvignon and the roundness of mountain-grown Merlot. All the fruit was sourced from the Wildcat and Saffron Vineyards on Napa’s Mount Veeder.
TASTING NOTES:
Savor the flavors of bright red fruit with a brambly backbone, bright acidity, well-integrated tannins and a smooth, lingering finish. This is a wine to enjoy in its youth with aging potential for 5 to 10 years.
