WINEMAKER NOTES:
“The Greek toast “Levendi” acknowledges a hard day’s labor and achievement. It celebrates the fields, the rain and the sun that nurture our special grapes. Essentially, it’s a toast ‘to celebrate life.’ And it is the philosophy on which we craft our wine.” ~DAVID, JAMES & TODD
Levendi Winery’s family has a rich history in winemaking, with a Greek heritage that spans generations. Expertise and passion for the craft have undoubtedly contributed to the exceptional quality of our wines.
Hailing from the iconic Rutherford appellation, this Cabernet Sauvignon beautifully displays the elegant characteristics of this region. This was a small lot production of only 420 cases.
TASTING NOTES:
Deep garnet in color, this wine has gorgeous aromatics of rich plum and raspberry. Combined flavors of black cherry and mocha, the palate is polished and full of alluring dark fruit flavors and hints of vanilla and oak. The finish is balanced and structured with concentrated layers of dark plum and essence of roasted coffee, giving the Rutherford appellation the great honor that it deserves. ~91 Points – James Suckling
