Description

This wine offers a perfumed, juicy, dark nose of black cherry, cedar, mandarin zest, violets, fresh tobacco, and new leather. The juicy palate has a wonderful weight and balance, with ultra fine
tannins, effortless length and flavors of plum, dark cherry, clove, carob, and violet. Drinking beautifully now, this wine is best consumed in the short term.

Vineyard Notes: This Pinot Noir comes from the Silver Eagle vineyard in Sonoma, just outside the town of Occidental, and is a blend of the 3 clones, 45% Calera, 42% Pommard, 13% VR. The
summer leading up to the 2021 harvest was ideal, with warm days and cool nights, and no intense heat spikes to speak of. The continuing drought and a few weather events during bud break
limited yields, but the quality is very high. Small concentrated berries yield intense flavorful wines. Though small in volume the 2021 harvest is mighty in quality.
