WINEMAKER NOTES:
Cantine Fina winery is located in Western Sicily between Marsala and Erice looking the sea from a hill with stunning sunsets. Sicily is sunny and caressed by the winds, the sea gives sapidity to the land, and what is born from this has a charming taste and a strong character. Cantine Fina was created in 2005 by father Bruno, oenologist, and mother Mariella. A shared family dream, which immediately captured the curiosity of their children, Marco, Sergio and Federica as well. Working for more than 20 years with the most famous Wine Maker in Italian modern Enology, Giacomo Tachis, The Fina Family has researched the best terroir and microclimates in Sicily to plant international varietals as Merlot, Cabernet, Chardonnay, Traminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier and many others.
The Grillo vine is one of the oldest in Sicily. It is perhaps the one that best recalls its perfumes and the richness of sensations. Tasting it is like “leaping” in our region.
Kebrilla: comes from the adjective ‘brilliant’, it refers to the brilliant hues of the wine.
TASTING NOTES:
All blossom and orange peels on the nose, in the mouth there is tons of fruit, with ripe citrus-y hints and peachy fuzzyness. Very Elegant with a long enjoyable finish. ~ Shelly, OVW
