WINEMAKER NOTES:
Venosa is a beautiful ancient village in southern Italy, rich in history, culture and art. 800 acres of gentle hills surround Cantina di Venosa, where volcanic soil and dry micro-climate work in harmony to produce some of Italy’s finest Aglianico del Vulture grapes.
TASTING NOTES:
Well structured modern wine with intense ruby red color. Aromas of dark fruits and spice. Dark fruits are persistent with a spicy finish.
VISUAL: Intense ruby red color with slight garnet reflections.
BOUQUET: Vinous bouquet with a delicate scent of currant, moderately spicy.
TASTE: Dry, savory and persistent flavor, very pleasant in its harmony.
