The Marcati Family has been producing Limoncello and other spirits in Veneto, Italy since 1919. With well over 100 years of history, the family has developed their essence for business referred to as the Centenary Spirit. The Marcati Limoncello is produced following a recipe from Italy, an area abounding in flavors and traditions that date back thousands of years. Marcati Limoncello is the superb result of an expert blend of infusions obtained according to age-old recipes, together with natural juices and flavors. This is a very traditional, flavorful, and fragrant liqueur, obtained through an infusion of lemon rinds. All lemons used in the liqueur must come from the protected geographic designation of the Sorrento & the Amalfi region. Limoncello is traditionally served chilled as an after-dinner digestive.
TASTING NOTES:
Nose: This limoncello liqueur has a slightly tangy and bright aroma that will remind you of freshly squeezed lemons.
Palate: The palate reveals sweet-tart notes of freshly squeezed lemons topped with just the right amount of bitterness from the green herbs.
Finish: Refreshing.
