Description
WINEMAKER NOTES:
The Shiraz grapes for this wine were harvested from David and Cathy Knight’s estate vineyard in Langhorne Creek. Shiraz from Langhorne Creek generally suits this style of wine well as Shiraz fruit from the region has no problem reaching its level of ripeness and displaying ripe berry characters. Furthermore, Langhorne Creek Shiraz characteristically has a soft tannin structure that contributes to mouthfeel and early drinkability.
TASTING NOTES:
Deep red with purple hues. The fragrant nose offers abundant dark fruits with hints of cut flowers, clove, black pepper and anise. The palate is full-bodied with a plush mouth-feel, dark fruits, smooth tannins and a long finish.
