Description
WINEMAKER NOTES:
Pocai Vineyard is located on the southern edge of the Calistoga Appellation. Pocai Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon stands out year after year. Experience rich plum, blackberry, and eucalyptus with raspberry preserves and dark cocoa nibs with this inviting Cabernet. The tannins are big and robust with plenty of complexity on the palate to round out this beautiful single vineyard. A lingering finish rounds out the well-integrated structure.
TASTING NOTES:
What a beautiful vintage! Pocai Vineyard has a way of expressing a fruit-forward California wine but also brings large tannins that are integrated to create a powerful yet elegant wine. Black cherry, raspberry, red apple, and fig meet clove, slight olive, tobacco, earl grey tea, and chocolate mousse all found in this complex wine. This is a big, rich, and robust wine. Drink now through 2036.
