Rick Plambeck & Violeta Garcia

Rick has dedicated the last two decades of his professional journey to the wine and spirits industry. Beginning as a territory account manager in wine and spirit wholesale, he progressed through various management roles, contributing to the success of multiple brands by leading sales teams. Rick has served as the Trade Development manager for renowned brands like Deutsch Wine & Spirits, Tito’s Vodka, and Casamigos Tequila.

Currently, Rick focuses on developing his own brand, Old Vine Wine & Spirits. He enjoys sharing his industry expertise and brand knowledge with his team and customers. Witnessing the joy customers experience when they find that special bottle of wine or whiskey inspires him about the future of Old Vine Wine & Spirits.

Jaime Pithan

Jaime’s introduction to Napa Valley wines began when she visited family in Southern California who exposed her to excellent California red blends and Cabernet Sauvignon. Years later, accompanied by her husband, Jaime visited Napa Valley with friends and explored a variety of wines from different vineyards. This experience was transformative, significantly enhancing her love for wine. Wine has now become an integral part of her evening conversations with friends, creating memorable moments.

By attending numerous wine tasting events at Old Vine Wine, Jaime has developed a deep appreciation for all types of wine. Her go-to description for her favorite Cabernet Sauvignon is a “warm hug”. Alongside her husband, John, Jaime keeps busy attending their children’s school activities and cherishing moments with friends over a delightful bottle of wine from OVW.

Rachel Johnson

Rachel’s passion for wine blossomed significantly following a trip to Napa Valley. During this visit, she had the chance to explore numerous wineries, delve into the wine-making process, and indulge in tasting various varietals. Upon her return, Rachel’s enthusiasm for wine culture expanded, leading her to embark on a career in the industry at Old Vine Wine and Spirits. With a background in coaching and client management, she enjoys engaging with like-minded individuals to chat about wine in a friendly, approachable manner.

Alongside her husband, Colin, Rachel recently welcomed their first child, Genevieve, who is their greatest joy. Although her spare time is limited due to family commitments, Rachel enjoys activities such as traveling, discovering local gastronomic delights, attending live music events, and spending time outdoors with her dog, Gus. Rachel is currently pursuing further education in the realm of wine and eagerly anticipates broadening her knowledge in the coming years!
